Ways to Use Our Programs
The Trampoline Advantage

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Trampoline?
After 15 years of experience in the field of education, Angelica Menefee was approached by a Maryland preschool to implement a foreign language program and saw the opportunity to deliver instruction to young children in a unique way. Her program would offer fun, meaningful and lasting learning and could be implemented by any teacher, anytime, at any school.

For what age groups are Trampoline Learning Programs designed?
All Trampoline Learning Programs are designed for ages 2-9 and can be scaled back for younger learners and enhanced for more mature or more advanced learners.

What does Trampoline offer?
Trampoline is comprised of three educational series: Explorer, Scholar and Competitor.

  • The Trampoline Explorer Series offers four foreign language programs – Spanish, French, Italian & German – and a World Cultures & Geography program
  • The Trampoline Scholar Series offers three enrichment programs: Art Appreciation, Character Development and Music Appreciation
  • The Trampoline Competitor Series offers five physical education programs: Basketball, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer and T-Ball
  • Trampoline also offers consulting services (“Trampoline Advisor”) and instructional materials (“Trampoline Supply Closet”).

What is the advantage of having a Trampoline Learning Program?
Teachers will benefit as they can begin implementing a Trampoline program at anytime without  specialized training. Students will acquire vast and meaningful knowledge of foreign language, art, music, etiquette and sportsmanship while they develop a more global perspective as they explore many world cultures. In an increasingly competitive preschool marketplace, schools will add to the bottom line by providing a more comprehensive curriculum to their students without the added costs of additional staff or training.

What makes a Trampoline Learning Program different from other programs or teaching materials I’ve found on the Internet?

  • Trampoline Learning Programs provide years’ worth of interactive lesson plans and hundreds of games to play.
  • Our goal is to provide fun yet meaningful lessons that will ultimately build a greater depth of knowledge in your students.
  • All of our programs are designed for use by any teacher—regardless of previous experience with the subject matter.
  • Our learning programs are designed with early learners in mind and no reading is required (although many games can be modified for emerging or early readers and writers).

Is Trampoline in schools now?
Yes we are. Trampoline Learning Programs are used by thousands of teachers in hundreds of schools nationwide including The Goddard Schools, Carefree Learning Centers, The Chesterbrook Academies, Ester Pearson Child Development Center, The Merryhill Schools, Discovery Isle Schools, The Town & Country School of Vienna, The Touchstone Schools, The Honor Roll School, St. Paul’s Plus at St. Paul’s School for Girls, The Calvert School, Immaculate Conception School, Apple Tree Children’s Center, Step By Step Children’s Learning Center, Ascension Lutheran Church Nursery & Kindergarten, First Christian Church School, and St. Mark’s Christian
Day School, among many other preschools, kindergartens, day and after-care centers. We are constantly adding schools to our Trampoline family.

Can I see a Trampoline program in action in a school that is currently implementing it?
You bet! Because our clients are so enthusiastic about our programs, many have agreed to let any interested preschool teachers and directors visit their classrooms to see the programs in action. Simply call us at 1.866.850.9371 to set up a visit at one of our locations.

I’m interested in the Explorer Series, but what if my teachers don’t speak a foreign language?
We’ve written our programs with them in mind. Our programs assume that teachers may have had little to no experience with the subject matter and present all information in easy to understand terms with
plenty of phonetic spellings and definitions. All of our foreign language programs come with a comprehensive CD that includes pronunciation of each unit’s vocabulary and recordings of all songs and
rhymes that are part of each unit.

I already have a foreign language program in place. How do I get a Trampoline Learning Program started in my school?
We know it is extremely difficult for teachers to come up with fun, meaningful, interactive foreign language lessons everyday—especially for young audiences that are non- or emerging readers. Your teacher can pick and choose from our collection of games, songs and activities to create the foreign language program that best suits your students. With our ideas she will have the tools to create both interactive lessons and student directed shelf games that can be left in the classrooms for use between formal lessons. Additionally, because our programs can be taught by any teacher, you will never lose your program to staff turnover.

Can I use my Trampoline Learning Program in more than one classroom with more than one age group?
Absolutely! Because of the modular design of the programs, many units can be presented in different classrooms simultaneously. All programs can be pared down for younger learners or enhanced for more advanced students to accommodate the different ages and abilities of your students.

Do these programs have to be part of the daily schedule?
Optimally, but Trampoline Learning Programs can also be used for Extended Day Programs, Summer Camp Curricula or can be informally woven into daily activities that are part of curricula you are currently implementing. (Imagine a bilingual circle time, singing songs about composers during music, or etiquette lessons during snack time!)

Who else can use Trampoline programs besides preschools and elementary schools?
Our programs can be easily implemented in Day Care centers (both commercial and in-home), Home School programs, Summer Camp Programs, After School Programs and Recreational Councils.

How can Trampoline help my school increase profitability?
There are several ways that Trampoline will add to your bottom line:

  • A school that can boast a smarter, more comprehensive curriculum will quickly become a place where more parents want to send their children.
  • Use your curriculum as an optional fee-based daytime activity, a thematic extended day program,  or summer camp program for added school income.
  • There is no additional staffing required—any of your existing staff members (or even parent volunteers) can present a Trampoline Learning Program.
  • Trampoline also offers fundraising materials that will help earn money for your school while promoting at-home reinforcement of learning done in school.

How do I get a Trampoline Learning Program started in my school?
Contact us toll-free at 1.866.850.9371 or at info@trampolinelearning.com. Our programs are ready to use the moment you purchase them, but if you feel your staff would benefit from a workshop to help them get started, Trampoline Advisor is here to help. Our consulting service will offer you any help your school needs to get your program off the ground. Additionally, our Supply Closet offers you any of the instructional materials your school might need to facilitate implementation of our programs.

How much do the programs cost?
Our programs range in price from $299 to $1575. Many of our programs offer 3 years of lessons—that means that for each year a child spends in your school he would never have the same lesson twice. Consider the benefits:

  • Using a Trampoline Learning Program costs a fraction of what it would cost you to hire a teacher at an hourly rate to teach lessons once a week for three years. Whether you hired a private foreign language tutor or music/art teacher to come in once  a week for three years to meet with your students, you’d be paying her almost five times what it would cost you to purchase a Trampoline Learning Program.
  • The information presented in our programs is timeless and your programs can be reused indefinitely –for the lifetime of your school.
  • Some of our clients are in the process of applying for grant money to help pay for our programs and sometimes one parent fundraiser does the job.

We’re certain that you’ll find that the one time fee for a Trampoline Learning Program is far surpassed in value by the enthusiasm you’ll see in your students year after year and the vast knowledge they’ll acquire.
